Last month we launched our Suggest a Summer Dish competition, and we couldn’t resist making our winning Chicken and Prawn Paella (as suggested by Karen Clarke) our Dish of the Month this August. With so many people choosing to ‘staycation’ this summer, indulging in this delicious classic Spanish dish will be our way of bringing the Mediterranean to Cheshire!
Our Drink of the Month is a cocktail that’s the ideal accompaniment to paella. Diosa Verde (which is Spanish for green goddess) is a refreshing long drink combining Hunter’s Gin, Passoa Liqueur, fresh limes, cucumber, sugar syrup and bitter lemon.

It’s a zingy, invigorating taste of summer in a glass. We suggest you enjoy it on our patio, whilst closing your eyes and hopefully enjoying the August sun. Before you know it, you’ll be transported to the Med!
